The INKOMA - Elaflex-coupling provides the designer with a wide range of possibilities due to the variety of basic designs. Elaflex-couplings are positive, do not transmit shock and are suitable for both directions of rotation. They give smooth transmission, and damp torsional vibration. Shock and vibration applied to the drive are effectively damped.
Flexible elements or " spiders ", of either 80 or 92 Shore "A" hardness, give the Elaflex-coupling either torsionally soft or torsionally stiff characteristics, according to the operational requirements. The spiders are extremely resistant to wear, oil, ozone and tropical conditions.
